The brothers model their hand-made scarves from Nanijan

This was taken by Daddy one morning before school.  Aren't they in the best moods?  And so proud of their scarves.

But wait, Adnan's Nanijan is Amiri and Arram's Par-Dadi as in paternal great-grandmother. And yes I will show this to Mummy. Lovely picture of the boys. Are they happy every day before school? Hmmm...I should share this with Humza as well!

Wait, Par-Dadi??? That is a new one for me! All these honorific and geneology terms are confusing! I don't think I'll ever learn how to use all of them correctly.

(Thank you Par-Dadi, Great-Grandmother... they love the scarves, and you...)

Aww that's sweet. I get confused when helping library customers with genealogy because the relationship words are different. For example, in Urdu, Amiri and Arram would be my grandsons but in English, they are my great-nephews. Either way, we all love each other and that doesn't need to show any family tree regardless of language.
