Michigan wins the bridge competition

I was sick recently and just couldn't manage an exciting adventure.  But we needed SOMETHING to explore.  So we drove over the Harbour Bridge and then stopped to look back.

We even scampered underneath it!  (Look at the little trolls...)

As an engineering feat, it's pretty impressive, no doubt about it.  Especially the part about doubling its vehicle capacity later with the 'clip-ons'.  But it's still dwarfed in comparison by the mighty Mackinac.

I agree - the Mighty Mac does win... Now as for the trolls under the bridge (of which I am one), I think your own little trolls win that competition hands down!

By the way, I love the new background photo!

Georgeous photo of cliffs, surf and pines! Bridges really fascinate people; there is something in our human psyche that longs to be connected, to reach out and unify. Hugs to you and my grandsons!

Ha! Very lovely header pic and bridge too! Those scampering boys thot it was an adventure! I remember taking Casey to see the Mighty Mac when she was about 11 and we have a pic of her under the bridge.

What a sweet Troll Momma you are to find a small adventure even when you are sick! I hope that you feel better. Tell the boys to give you lots of hugs and kisses (after you are not contagious)so that you feel better soon. Love to you all.

Your new header image is an excellent reminder of why Peter Jackson continues to film his fantasy movies in NZ! Love to you all -
